Chryssi Vidalaki
Chrysi Vidalaki was born in Athens. She studied economics at the Athens School of Economics and Business Sciences and worked as a teacher in secondary education. She attends the postgraduate programme & Performing Arts of the Hellenic Open university.
As an actress she has collaborated with R. Castellucci in Mystery 11 Ma of Eleusis 2023, G. Mavragani in Old Age- a choral ode of the Experimental Stage of the National Theatre, E. Skoti in Crime, Punishment, Money, Murder of a Pensioner of the Theatre Epi Kolono, A. Karazisis in Homesickness Blues of the Athens & Epidaurus Festival, M. Banushi in Goodbye, Lindita of the National Theatre and Taverna Miresia: Mario, Bella, Anastasia of the Athens & Epidaurus Festival and with M. Bosch in La foret d O of the theatre Le Commun Contemporary Art Museum-Geneva-Swiss. In cinema she has participated in short and feature films (Eteros ego by S. Tsafoulias, Kiouka by K. Charamuntanis, Aerolin by A. Koukias etc). She is a founding member of Theatro sti Sala with which she has organized the production of Fragments of the performance RAGADA directed by M. Banushi, the workshop Dosilogoi by G. Mavragani, and the workshop Exhibiting The Violence of Life coordinated by C. Vidalaki and M. Banushi based on the homonymous work of T. Tzanatos. She has attended courses at the Theatre of Changes, the Theatre Epi Kolono, European Cultural Centre of Delphi. She trained as a facilitator in the Basic Principles of Teamwork (based on the Processwork approach) and as a Mental Health Counsellor using the Non- Directivité Intervenante (NDI) method.
