The magic of Christmas comes alive again this year at the Young People’s Stage with the rarest and most precious of all the festive gifts we exchange: stories. Christmas tales that are sweet, funny, and sometimes have a twist, with naughty elves and goblins, but also full of love and magical encounters, journeys, stars, wizards, and sacks full of presents.
Rania Oikonomidou, together with Efstathia Lagiokapa as her goblin friend, two superb actors from different generations, share an important secret with young theatregoers: no matter how many presents you have under your Christmas tree, what really count are the gifts you have in your heart.
At the piano is Vassilis Panagiotopoulos, performing wonderful Christmas music.
Rania Oikonomidou will read Babushka by Xenia Kalogeropoulou, The Elves and the Shoemaker by the Brothers Grimm, and The Gift of the Magi by Ο. Henry.
