Dimitris Kapetanios

Dimitris Kapetanios (Thessaloniki, 1995) is an actor & musician. He graduated from the Fine Arts Department at Theatrical Studies (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) & the music high school of Thessaloniki, with saxophone. In recent years, he has participated in many theatrical performances in Greece or abroad. Some of those recent projects are: Against Progress - a memory field  by Esteve Soler directed by Anna-Maria Iakovou, Roberto Zucco by Bernard-Marie Koltes directed by Michalis Sionas, Elephant in the room at Municipal Theatre of Veria directed by Kalliopi Simou. He collaborated with the State Orchestra of Thessaloniki and State Theater of Northern Greece Are you talking to me? (teenage-play, directed by Stella Michailidou), Sarajevo 1914 - This my small tomb (theater play, Moni Lazariston Theater at Thessaloniki / State Theater of Northern Greece. Crossroads-National Theater in Niš, directed by Thanos Nikas).
Also has participated in notable international festivals like: SKG Bridges Festival (Greece, The Legend of Persephone, Museum of Photography of Thessaloniki), Theater at the Crossroads - National Theatre in Niš (Serbia, Sarajevo 1914 - This my small tomb directed by Thanos Nikas) Prague Quadrennial Studio Festival (Czech Republique, To Da or not to Da, directed by Damianos Konstantinidis, Damu Disk Theater), SETT - Stuttgarter Europa Theater Treffen (Germany, To Da or not to Da), VENICE OPEN STAGE (Italy, To Da or not to Da), FAST FORWARD FESTIVAL (Germany, La tentation de saint Antoine, mais, je m'appelle Dimitris Thesis project (2021) and it does happen sometimes. The case of the bald soprano, directed by Marilena Katranidou, 2017).
