Βorn in Canada and based in Athens, Greece, David Blouin is a sound designerengineer. His practice could be characterized as “sculptural sound environment”. The use of the live sound and other pre-recorded sources like field recordings are the primary subject matter of his work. It is also important to note the creative way of using sound system reinforcement and spatialization. He has evolved professionally as sound engineer, sound designer and stage manager in a diverse body of work including Dance, Music and Contemporary Art. 
He is also a self-produced recording artist and performer directing musical research toward diverse branches of electronic music such as ambient and experimental. 
He has collaborated and been touring around the world with Dimitris Papaioannou (Ink, Transverse Orientation), Fritz Company Bigi / Paoletti (That’s All Folks!, Un Discreto Protagonista), Charo Foo Tai Wei (Yearning, Jin GU Bang), Mélanie Demers (Danse Mutante), Porte Parole (J’ Aime Hydro) and others.
