Christos Thanos
Christos Thanos is an actor, composer, director, and father of Elli.
He studied acting and music.
As a director, his work includes: War Correspondents, a dramaturgical composition by Iro Bezou and himself (Athens Epidaurus Festival 2025), The Descendants, a story about two siblings who never met, also co-written with Iro Bezou, Cloud in Trousers by Vladimir Mayakovsky, Serpent and Lily by Nikos Kazantzakis, Interview and The Krauser Game by the theater group "Emeis" (Us), The River by Jez Butterworth, For No One Is It Easy Down Below by Idyli Tsaliki and himself.
As a performer, he has collaborated with renowned directors such as Theodoros Terzopoulos, Dimitra Trypani, Spyros Evangelatos, Loucas Thanos, Korais Damatis, and Vassilis Nikolaidis, among others.
He served as Artistic Director of "Our Festival" for ten consecutive years (2015–2024).
He has composed music for various theatrical productions and has an extensive career in dubbing, having worked as an actor, singer, director, and song supervisor in over 500 productions.
